I am happy to review products that may be of interest to my readers.

Products relating to cookware, small kitchen appliances, food products, cookbooks, and other products useful in the home kitchen or relating to food and/or cooking are welcome.

1. Please email me with a general synopsis of the type of product you would like for me to evaluate.

2. Submit your product to the address I provide in response to your email, along with any pertinent information that may help with background or history of your product and/or company. No product will be returned.

3. Acceptance of a product does not guarantee a review post. Reviews are written at my discretion, will be based solely on my personal experience using your product, and will always be fair and honest.

4. I will need to use the product for a time period that is fair for evaluation, and I may also have other products I am reviewing ahead of your request. All products are handled in the order of receipt generally, but there may be a time lapse between receipt and review, depending on how many are already pending.

5. Any giveaway baskets, product coupons, or product offered by you to my readers is welcomed, but fulfillment and shipping will be done by your company at your expense.

6. No post will be submitted in advance to your company for review.

7. With minimal exception (such as Foodbuzz sponsors), Deep South Dish blog is reserved for all of my recipe posts and other food related tips, tricks and shortcuts, however, closely related food products that generate and can be used for cooking and/or in recipes, and/or include sponsored product giveaways, will be featured here.

In some instances, generic product features and reviews, including those with sponsored giveaways will be hosted at my sister blog, My New 30, but are directly linked and cross-promoted from Deep South Dish and between the two blogs. Your product will receive promotion on both sites, and on Twitter, and will have an above the fold feature in the upper left hand sidebar on Deep South Dish for a limited, and sometimes extended, time.

This website accepts forms of advertising, primarily through affiliate link purchases made on products that I use, feature and recommend, and also through the Foodbuzz ad network. You are never under any obligation to click anything, or purchase anything when you come here and, in fact, most of the work I do here I do because I love writing and sharing my life and recipes with you, not for advertising dollars.  I do appreciate those of you who support my work and efforts through purchases though, because that enables me to feed my cookbook and book addictions and buy toys for my grandbabies and my feline and canine children. If you don't happen to like what I've written, or a specific recipe I've done, or a certain ingredient in a recipe, or the way a recipe "looks" in the photograph, PLEASE feel free to skip that entry for pete's sake. Without leaving your "opinion." There's bound to be a recipe along the way you'll like, just hang around a bit, but mind your manners is all I'm asking. If you wouldn't walk into somebody's kitchen and say that to their face - well, just don't say it here online either - because, well... basically this is my kitchen you're in.

I appreciate all readers and thank you for adding to the discussion. I don't mind critique or critical dialogue, so long as it is constructive. Sarcastic, snarky, mean-spirited and inflammatory remarks add no value to the conversation and will be deleted. Comments that appear to serve only to draw traffic to your site will be deleted. In other words, just play nice, do unto others as you would have them do unto you and we'll all get along just fine.



I have recently suspended button and link exchanges because with the Blogger platform and my current design, I just don't have a good place to prominently feature them that I am happy with.

I am {currently} happy to do a reciprocal link exchange here with other food related sites, button for button, or link for link, if your site compliments and/or fits into the philosophy of this site and so long as you put your buttons on your main page and not in an obscure black hole hidden somewhere in the dark recesses of your blog. Just email me and ask. Additionally, I sometimes will just add random buttons or links to sites that I like, and that I think my readers will enjoy.  Buttons for sites that go inactive for a stretch of time will be removed at least temporarily, just so that I don't send my readers to dead blogs.  When you get back to blogging let me know and I'll be happy to put them back up.
