Duck Commander Family Foods

Faith. Family. Food. Check out this product review from Deep South Dish, for homestyle spreads, dips and Miss Kay's fabulous desserts, from Duck Commander Family Foods.

One of the perks of blogging is the opportunity to bring new products to your readers and I am so excited to introduce you to brand new products from Duck Commander Family Foods. Homestyle spreads, dips and desserts, you'll find that they taste just as if you prepared them in your own kitchen. Every single thing that I was able to sample was wonderful, tasted homemade and did not disappoint one bit. Any of these will make an awesome addition to your Super Bowl party menu this weekend, or any gathering or party you have planned this year.

You'll currently find Duck Commander Food products available at BI-LO stores, Winn-Dixie, Lowe's Food, at the Duck Commander store in West Monroe, Louisiana. They are working with other retailers to get the products in a wider variety of stores all across the U.S. so be sure to check your favorite store!

The first thing I want to tell you about are the Wild Willie's Buffalo Style Chicken Dips. A blend of white meat chicken with cream cheese and hot sauce, they are available currently in three flavors - blue cheese, ranch and sweet and spicy.

Wild Willie's Buffalo Style Sweet & Spicy Chicken Dip

A milder, sweeter version of Buffalo dip, the sweet and spicy was my favorite. It has all the delicious flavors you expect, but with the additional taste of Louisiana barbecue sauce included. Divine.

Wild Willie's Buffalo Style Blue Cheese Chicken Dip

For those of you who love dipping buffalo wings in blue cheese dressing, you'll love this more classic combo of buffalo chicken and blue cheese. There is a definite taste of blue cheese that shines through, so if you're not a fan, you'll want to sway more toward the ranch flavor instead.

Traditional Favorites Cream Cheese Pineapple and Pecan Spread

While I really enjoyed Wild Willie's Buffalo Style Chicken Dips, my hands down favorite was the Traditional Favorites cream cheese with pineapple and pecan. Whether you serve it on crackers or eat it straight off the spoon, this is the pineapple dip you know and love. Love, love, love! I think I could easily eat my weight in this one.

Besides the fact that these are all delicious and affordable dips, one of the great things about all of them is that they are nice and creamy and ready to eat right out of the fridge. You don't even have to wait until they reach room temperature, although I think the buffalo style dips would be delicious heated too.

Now... while all of the dips are more than delicious and mighty convenient, let's get to the sweet stuff, because I know that's what y'all really love. I'm here to tell you, you will not be disappointed at all in Miss Kay's homemade desserts - it's good stuff indeed! This is Miss Kay's Homemade Cream Cheese Pound Cake with a touch of cinnamon.

It's a full sized, tube style pound cake. Look how beautiful it is! There is no way that anybody would guess you bought this at a store, unless you told them. You'll find this in stores only at this time.

The classic light density of a pound cake, there is just a nice hint of cinnamon, enough to give you the flavor but without overwhelming the cake.

Miss Kay's desserts are also available in stores and online in loaf style pound cakes in vanilla cream, orange cream, lemonade and carrot cake, or may be purchased in a combo variety pack. The carrot cake was amazing and perfect. Not overly sweet and with plenty of carrot throughout, a perfect blend of spices, it was rich and most and is finished with a nice cream cheese icing, I think this the carrot cake was my favorite of them all. But then...

I also tried the lemonade cake and I do love me some lemon. This classic old fashioned lemonade cake, has just the right boost of citrus that doesn't take over the flavor of the cake itself. Frosted with the same cream cheese icing, you won't be disappointed.

Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming new products too, like Miss Kay's Homestyle Cobblers. Imagine all the homemade taste without the work. Oh my gracious, does that look delicious or what?!
